MoreMagic Solutions, the leading provider of payment platforms in worldwide mobile carrier networks, today announced that it has named communications industry executive Carol Meier to the position of Vice President of Marketing.

As vice president of marketing, Carol is responsible for MoreMagic¹s market strategy, partner relationships, product marketing, and corporate communications. She is responsible for MoreMagic's initiative to leverage the success of mobile penetration worldwide in deploying payment solutions into new markets and innovative applications. She reports to Pankaj Gulati, CEO and chairman of MoreMagic Solutions.

Carol brings two decades of experience in wireless communications, including vice president of marketing positions at Artisoft (acquired by Vertical Communications), GN Netcom, and Boston Technology (acquired by Comverse Network Systems). At each of these companies, Carol launched software products and services in worldwide markets, and grew market share by working with network and mobile carrier partners to deploy innovative applications. She was most recently executive director of MassNetComms, an industry association comprised of communications companies in Massachusetts, where she worked with the technology startups to achieve their strategic marketing, finance and business development objectives.
