Cable & Wireless Caribbean and MoreMagic Solutions are pleased to announce that they have reached a milestone of full deployment of eTopup using MoreMagic's MTopUp^TM solution, implemented with Cable & Wireless Caribbean since 2004. eTopUp allows subscribers to replenish funds in prepaid accounts anytime anywhere using a mobile phone, an ATM, the web, automated kiosk or a point-of-sale terminal. Cable & Wireless was the first company to launch eTopUp for mobile customers in the Caribbean, eliminating the need for purchasing a physical card in order to receive airtime. eTopUp has enabled customers across the region to purchase airtime with any amount of money they choose, rather than the pre-determined amounts sold on cards.

Cable & Wireless Caribbean has now deployed eTopUp in all of its markets and many markets have replaced prepaid cards entirely. The eTopUp experience for the customer is far easier than using cards, as they no longer have to scratch a card, and dial in the card number. The eTopUp experience is also available for prepaid users when they roam in the Caribbean via C&W dealers and the web, allowing airtime to be purchased anywhere.
